PPROMPT Closing Cerinomy in Ankara, Turkey
On the 6th and 7th November partners from Turkey, Portugal and Romania gathered in Ankara for the closing ceremony of PPROMPT – Peer Pro-Social Modeling in Probation. PPROMPT aimed to structure a peer pro-social modeling approach in probation systems, enhancing the competences for both management and probation experts to address the offenders’ needs. This event aimed at promoting the project and engaging both the European and the national key-stakeholders and experts.
The work developed within the project was the main focus of this ceremony where other renowned attendees such as: The Director of Ankara Denetimli Serbestlik Müdürlügü, Yılmaz Çiftci, Deputy General Managers Namık Kemal Varol and Hasan Akceviz and the Head of Probation Department Burak Ceyhan, just to name some of the Top Officials participated at the event.

PPROMPT Fourth project meeting in Lisbon, Portugal
The fourth project meeting of PPROMPT project, representing partners, from Turkey, Portugal and Romania, met at the Auditorium of the Portuguese Prison and Probation Services (DGRSP) in Lisbon, on the 9th and 10th of May 2019, to discuss the Outputs' implementation progress, budget issues and activities planning. The event was organised by IPS_Innovative Prison Systems and the Portuguese Prison and Probation Services (DGRSP).

PPROMPT short-term joint staff training event in Lisbon, Portugal
The First Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event of PPROMPT Project took place in Lisbon, between May 6th and 10th 2019. This event was organised by IPS_Innovative Prison Systems and the Portuguese Prison and Probation Services (DGRSP) and held at the DGRSP Auditorium, in Lisbon.
The 5-day training event main focus was focused on peer pro-social modeling, peer training, and the developed curriculum and materials, unquestionably much-needed skills and resources for professionals intending to train future offenders’ peer trainers. Over these five days nearly 30 probation experts from Turkey, Romania and Portugal actively participated in the event's presentations and activities.

PPROMPT third project meeting in Bucharest, Romania
The third project meeting of PPROMPT project, representing partners, from Turkey, Portugal and Romania, met at The European Public Space in Bucharest, on the 28th and 29th of January, 2019, to discuss the Outputs' implementation progress, budget issues and activities planning.

PPROMPT second project meeting in Lisbon, Portugal
PPROMPT project Consortium met for the second time on the 27th and 28th of September 2018, in Lisbon, Portugal. Representatives from all three partner countries (Turkey, Portugal and Romania) participated in the project meeting. During this second meeting the project’s implementation plan was discussed by all partners, including the goals and tasks for the up coming months.

- Preparation of the Peer-social modeling in probation curriculum;
- Preparation of the Peer Trainer’s Manual;
- Planning of next activities (including the next project meeting);
- Management evaluation and dissemination issues.

PPROMPT kick-off meeting in Ankara, Turkey
On February 8th and 9th 2018, the Kick-off meeting of PPROMPT project was held in Ankara, Turkey. The event was organised and led by the Ministry of Justice Ankara General Prosecutor’s Office. The Deputy Chief Prosecutor, Aytekin Cenikli, spoke at the meeting and emphasised the ever-growing importance and qualification of the Turkish Probation System since its establishment in 2005. The PPROMPT project seeks the establishment of peer support in probation settings, focusing on the enhancement of law-abiding social skills, attitudes, and behaviors among those who are on probation, hence, it foresees the setting up of a Peer Pro-Social Model Team, trained by probation professionals in the field.
