2021 National Mentoring Summit. Renaissance Washington, D.C. Downtown, from January 27th to 29th, 2021.
The eleventh annual National Mentoring Summit will bring together individuals who represent the mentoring movement, including practitioners, researchers, philanthropic investors, youth leaders, government and civic leaders, and MENTOR’s local Affiliates. The National Mentoring Summit is convened by MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership, and garners support from both the private and public sectors, including a group of national mentoring and youth-serving organizations who serve as Supporting Partners. The National Mentoring Summit is the annual opportunity for the mentoring movement to gather to advance a collective mentoring agenda, strengthen programs and practices, and collaborate to support positive youth development through mentoring. |

2nd International Mentoring Conference. Brussels, Belgium, on October 25th, 2019.
The second EMCC International Mentoring Conference will take place in Brussels on International Mentoring Day on 25 October 2019. The aim of the conference is to showcase good practice, along with emerging themes and applications, with a view to making mentoring programmes and relationships even more impactful. The conference will also be a great place to explore the ISMCP (International Standards for Mentoring and Coaching Programmes) accreditation offered by EMCC. |
Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event held in Portugal.
The event was held in Portugal and organised by IPS_Innovative Prison Systems and The Portuguese Prison and Probation Services (DGRSP). For five days, nearly 30 probation experts from Turkey, Portugal and Romania were trained on peer pro-social modeling, peer training, and the developed curriculum and materials, unquestionably much-needed skills and resources for professionals intending to train future offenders’ peer trainers. |

Mentoring Short Course. European Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring. The Netherlands, October 11th and 12th, 2018. The Mentoring Short Course is a yearly event of the European Center, in collaboration with prof Jean Rhodes and the US Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring. The Short Course is a two-day seminar of researchers and practitioners to exchange the latest results and best practices around a certain topic. The short Course is above all an event to develop the evidence-based practice of mentoring professionals.Topic of the Short Course is being developed based on the results of the European Mentoring Summit in Berlin in March 2018, together with the KiPa network of mentoring programmes in Berlin.

Kick-off meeting of the PPROMPT project held Ankara. The event was organised and led by the Ministry of Justice Ankara General Prosecutor’s Office. The Deputy Chief Prosecutor, Aytekin Cenikli, spoke at the meeting and emphasised the ever-growing importance and qualification of the Turkish Probation System since its establishment in 2005.
